Costume Contest

Returning once again will be the Saturday Night Costume Contest. 

The contest will be held at 7:00pm in the auditorium.

Costume Contest Rules*

Note: The Charity Auction will be interspersed during the contest.

The Registration table will be in the Artist Alley.  You can register Friday from open to close of artist alley.  Saturday until noon.

No downloading of forms are required.

Just bring an introduction to be read by the announcer during your presentation.

(NOTE:If you are having trouble coming up with something, we will help.)

There will be four (4) separate costume classes (see below).


Pre-judging  Room D 4:30p – 6:30p
You must report for a contestant Number in order to participate.


Category Age(s) Additional Info
Children Contestants under 12 yrs Each child must be accompanied by an adult at all times for safety (no exceptions). Accompanying adult will not be judged.
Beginners 13 Yrs and Over For new or Novice Costumers still learning to make costumes. Teenagers under 18 yrs will automatically be placed into this category
Advanced Open to all ages For experienced costume makers – those REALLY GOOD at making costumes.
Group Open to all ages Open to all groups.

About the Categories – If unsure of which to choose and over 12, select Beginner category.

  • Costumes will be pre-judged. Be sure to check the schedule when you register to verify time and location of pre-judging. If you are not present for pre-judging, you will not be allowed to participate in the contest.


      • Individual contestants will be allowed 30 secs of performance time.
      • Group contestants will be allowed 90 secs of performance time.
      • Music is not required, but if it is included in your presentation, bring your selection for our sound technician.
