2016 brought us a larger Dealer’s Room! We’re committed to filling it with the most exciting vendors we can find. We’re looking for those who have unusual, unique, and interesting wares, along with familiar and fun things for our collectors, and youngest attendees. We can provide our guests a delightful shopping experience. We’re committed to balancing the vendors in the room, to ensure that we have a variety of item types, and price ranges, to benefit both you and our attendees. We’d especially love to see products supporting this year’s theme “The year of the dragon”.
If you’re interested in vending at MarsCon 2017 please submit an application. The Dealer’s Room is not filled on a “first-come-first-served” basis. Vending one year does not guarantee a table the next. All vendors have a chance to get into our room! Send us an application and our Committee will be glad to let you know when you are accepted. If you are accepted, we’ll prepare your invoice and send it along to you. It is super easy for you to arrange for payment. Payments may be made via our PayPal cart or by check.
Note to Authors:
The self-publishing e-book boom has created tremendous demand for “independent” authors’ tables. We do not book Authors in our Dealer’s Room, however, you can contact our Artist/Author Alley about space.
Table Cost by invoice date:
Currently: $175 per table
Dec. 15th 2016: $200 per table
Unfortunately we will have to cut sales off at December 31, 2016, or when we sell out.
Each table space includes:
One table 6 feet long by 30 inches wide, and 2 chairs, in a 6′ x 6′ space.
A listing on our website with a link to your website. Please be sure to provide us with accurate information.
One full convention membership per table. Additional badges for table assistants my be purchased for $25 prior to the convention (last date to purchase extra badges 12/1/2016).
Note: Dealer’s badges are for those individuals working in the Dealer’s Room ONLY. Each purchased badge must have a name associated with the badge at time of purchase. No additional dealer’s discount badges will be sold at the convention. You are welcome to purchase regular memberships anytime, though!
Tables are located in a large conference room which will be locked outside of our posted hours of operation.
Please note: That this is a business arrangement. While we are happy to work with our Dealer partners who have troubles come up, table refunds will not be issued to those who do not like someone on staff, or an attendee. Personal issues need to be dealt with personally. Thank you for your understanding.
We run extension cords to various locations around the room so that there is limited access to power.
Dealer load in begins at 9 AM on the Friday of the convention. We have a much larger Dealers Room now, which means we’ll have a lot of new faces during Friday’s Load In. In order to keep the chaos to a minimum, we need you to check in with the Dealer’s Room staff to receive your table assignment, badges, and welcome information before you begin loading in. To ensure everyone’s safety, and the security of merchandise and cash boxes, no one without a Dealers Room or Senior Staff badge will be allowed in the Dealer’s Room during Load In, Load Out, or before/after our posted open hours. Dealers can get into the Room one (1) hour earlier than the public on Saturday and Sunday for setup.
Unfortunately, we cannot provide labor for load in or load out.
Dealers should be completely cleared out of the Convention area, including the loading dock, by 6 PM on Sunday, January 15th, 2017. To ensure the security of merchandise and cash boxes, no one without a Dealers Room or Senior Staff badge will be allowed in the Dealer’s Room during Load In, Load Out, or before/after our posted open hours.
