Kids at the Con<\/strong><\/h4>\n

MarsCon enjoys providing fun and family-friendly activities for kids of all ages.\u00a0 Here are some things to know to make this experience great for all!<\/p>\n

MarsCon is not a baby-sitting service and is not responsible for the safety of your child, although we will assist in any way possible. Please be attentive!<\/b><\/p>\n

Contact: <\/u><\/strong>If you are allowing your child to roam free at the con, the staff Strongly Recommends<\/strong> that you put a reliable<\/strong> cell phone number on the back of their badge as an emergency contact.<\/p>\n

Please also be sure that they understand how to and are consistently using the Buddy System whenever possible.<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n

Video Game Room:<\/u><\/strong> Children under the age of 12 will not be allowed<\/strong> without the presence of a responsible Adult.<\/p>\n

Art Show:<\/u><\/strong> Some content may not be considered Child Friendly; as always, parents and guardians are expected to use their own judgement and guide their children appropriately. <\/u><\/b><\/p>\n

Programming and Con Suite:<\/u><\/strong> Insure they are under supervision by a responsible Adult if you are unable to be with them.<\/p>\n

Costume Contest:<\/u><\/strong> Children under the age of 12 are encouraged to participate in The Masquerade on Saturday, which is a judged competition (please see rules)<\/u><\/strong>, but a Parent must be with them at all times to ensure their safety.\u00a0 Children of all ages are encouraged to participate in the open, Costume Contest.<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n

Lost and Found<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

Children who have become separated from their responsible adult will be escorted to Con Ops. Staff members will try to contact the parents and will stay with your child until retrieved.<\/p>\n
