Washington DC – The last of the approaching horde of Alien Zombies were destroyed today. A band of fearless Science Fiction/Fantasy fans defeated the evil creatures, lead by Con-Chair James Allen, the fans formed their army, trained incessantly and successfully devised a counter offensive that drove the monsters from Williamsburg and into the Chesapeake Bay.

When approached, Chairman Allen praised his team. “Without the assistance of Neil Hollands, Erika Bailey, Chris Addotta, Ame Morris, Amy Smith, Bob Snare, Rich Stow, Carolyn Snare, Kyle Rice, Jennifer Sekula, Shadow Harmon, Chuck Turnista and my wife Beverley this would not have been possible. But special thanks goes to John Wade, who saved my life on several occasions, pulling me from the brink of doom.”

He continued with praise for others. “Of course without the knowledge given to us by Steve and Jan Stirling, we would have not survived. Special thanks to Theresa Mather, Barry Stone, Michelle and Ivan – the list goes on and on – for so many proved invaluable in our endeavors. We came together as ONE and proved successful!”

Chairman Allen ended with a simple statement.

“Now on to 2013 and REBIRTH!”
